The Collection

The collection features over 2,500 works of historic and contemporary art, with strengths in modern and contemporary sculpture. The museum is actively advancing its contemporary acquisitions to thoughtfully expand the collection.

  • Wetland scene with tall cattails in the foreground, trees in the background, a bird flying overhead, and a calm water body reflecting the sky and vegetation.

    New Acquisitions

New acquisitions continue to shape the collection and its connections across artists and ideas.

  • A glass ceiling with a grid pattern, showing multiple circular reflections and shadows from sunlight.

    The Founding Collection

The Founding Collection reflects the vision of Gerard L. Cafesjian. Comprising key works in glass, sculpture, and works on paper, it continues to shape the museum’s identity and program.
